Primary School
The Primary Section at Cogdel School Chengdu uses the IB PYP framework as its skeleton, anchored in the national curriculum, integrating Chinese cultural heritage with global competence cultivation. It builds a "Humanistic Heritage + Inquiry Thinking" dual-wing growth system, nurturing future citizens who can both quietly inherit tradition and confidently express themselves.
Here, we believe every child is unique. Under the eaves of century-old buildings, children write with calligraphy brushes and recreate Sanxingdui bronze patterns through coding. Foreign teachers lead them in English discussions on "How to Protect Giant Panda Habitats with AI." We avoid ranking and “grade shaming” and create an environment promoting curiosity and reverence for the world.
Middle School
The Middle School at Cogdel School Chengdu adopts a "National Curriculum + IGCSE Preparatory" model, emphasizing subject depth and critical thinking. Through interdisciplinary practice and competition incubation, it cultivates academic resilience and global competence.
Here, electronic instruments in the physics lab stand in fascinating contrast to the dougong brackets under upturned eaves. Students calculate the load-bearing capacity of Anren Ancient Town structures using mathematical models, analyze pigments in ancient paintings with chemical reagents, and debate "Balancing AI Ethics" bilingually. Knowledge is not fragmented, but a key to solving problems.
High School
The High School at Cogdel School Chengdu comprehensively offers mainstream international curricula (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, AP, DSE, etc.). It constructs a three-dimensional development pathway of "Academic Excellence + Technological Innovation + Business Practice," powered by competition resources, university counseling expertise, and a global network, propelling students towards top global universities.
Here, there is experimental ground for dreamers and a training ground for doers. Students write English theses in a nearly century-old library, design "Digital Heritage Protection Solutions" for Anren Ancient Town using blockchain and promote the "Sanxingdui Cultural Metaverse" in global live streams in English. There are no standard answers here, only reverence for truth and the courage to break through.
